Ashes of Reverence is a deeply personal tribute to a love that does not disappear with loss, but continues to live within the memories, values and strength passed from one generation to the next.

This fragrance was created in loving dedication to my father, my protector.

Losing my father to lung cancer left me with more than grief. It left me with questions, memories and a desire to understand the very plant that had become so closely associated with the illness that took him from me.

That curiosity led me on an unexpected journey into the history of tobacco.

Through my research, I discovered that long before tobacco became a commercial product, it held profound spiritual and ceremonial significance among many Indigenous peoples of the Americas. It was regarded within certain traditions as sacred, used in prayer, offerings and ceremonies, and treated with deep cultural reverence.

What began as an exploration of something associated with my father's passing became a discovery of something far more meaningful.

I came to understand that a single thing can carry very different meanings throughout history. And within that understanding, I found a new way to honour my father's memory.

I chose to remember the sacredness, not the grief.

Ashes of Reverence was never created to celebrate tobacco or the circumstances that took my father from me. It was created to honour the man who protected me, the love he gave me, and the memories that no illness could ever take away.

The fragrance opens with the luscious sweetness of peach and pineapple, accompanied by juicy nectarine and the refreshing brightness of citrus, Italian bergamot, orange and Persian lime. A delicate impression of fresh tobacco leaves introduces a nostalgic character, capturing the contrast between life's beautiful beginnings and the memories we carry through time.

At its heart, the rich sweetness of tobacco intertwines with golden honey, delicate green notes and summer fruits.
